History

In 1908 , when the Russian-Belgian Metallurgical Society laid the Bunge mine to supply coal to the Petrovsky Metallurgical Plant. In 1914, for the first time in the Donbass, a jackhammer was used for coal mining in the Buga mine. In 1924, the mine was given the name "Juncom" ("Young Communard"). In 1979 , in order to prevent frequent emissions of coal and rock, in the mine at a depth of 903 meters between the coal seams "Nine" and "Brick" as part of an atomic-explosive experiment, an underground nuclear explosion (object "Cleave") [2] . In 2018, the administration of the self-proclaimed DPR , under whose control the city of Enakievo was located, decided to flood the Yunkom mine [3] [4] .
