Geography
The village is located 20 km south from the center of the settlement of Novy and 23 km south from the district center of Kovrov .
History
In the XIX - the first quarter of the XX century, the village was part of the Klyushnikov volost of the Kovrov district . In 1859 [2] there were 23 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 37 yards, in 1926 [4] - 49 yards.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Martemyanovsky village council of the Kovrovsky district , since 1940 - as part of the Krutovsky village council , since 2005 - as part of the Novoselsky rural settlement .
