Balka Severnaya is a botanical reserve of local importance. Located in the Velikonovoselkovsky district of Donetsk region near the village of Vremevka . The status of the reserve was assigned by decision of the regional executive committee No. 7 of January 9, 1991. Area - 12 hectares. 200 species of plants grow on the territory of the reserve, of which 3 species are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine - cornflower Talieva , feathering Lessing , feathery hairy .
