Priestenskoye is a botanical reserve of local importance. Located in the Amvrosievsky district of Donetsk region . The status of the reserve was assigned by the decision of the regional executive committee No. 9 of January 10, 1979 [1] . Area - 250 ha.

The territory of the reserve is a man-made forest tract.
The floral list of the reserve is 349 species of plants. They are typical for the Donetsk Ridge plants on Cretaceous sediments.
In the reserve, medicinal herbs that grow in the forest and on its edges are taken under protection. Origanum , St. John's wort , sandy cumin , tansy , and valerian grow on the territory of the reserve. The reserve was created in order to preserve the oregano. Nine species of plants listed in the Red Book of Ukraine grow on the territory of the reserve - cornflower Talieva , thin-leaved peony, hairy peony, Ukrainian peony , two types of tulips , beautiful eremus .
The state enterprise Amvrosievsky Leskhoz is working with the reserve [2]
