Biography
Battle Path
As of the beginning of 2015, he was captain , commander of a mechanized company of a mechanized battalion of the 30th separate mechanized brigade [1] [2] .
On February 10-11, 2015, during the clearing of the village of Logvinovo, thanks to the courage and decisive decisive actions of the officer, the assault group seized part of the village, while Vladimir Grinyuk personally destroyed 3 armored vehicles and up to 30 militants. During the operation, he was injured, but continued to lead the consolidated unit. The unit subordinate to Grinyuk destroyed a large number of armored vehicles and manpower of illegal armed groups [1] .
As of October 2017 - deputy mechanized battalion of the 30th separate mechanized brigade. October 19, 2017 received the military rank of Major [3] .
Rewards
- The title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Golden Star Order (March 23, 2015) - “for the exceptional courage, heroism and fortitude shown in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine” [4] .
