Member of the war, engineer-captain, head of the chemical service of the 128th Infantry Division.
From 1950 to 1980 he worked at the Radium Institute , from 1958 a senior research fellow.
Member of the Soviet nuclear program. His research on plutonium oxidation doubled the productivity of the precipitation chain. This work (completed under the direction of B. P. Nikolsky ) led to the creation of a “whole-acetate” scheme (1957), implemented at the Mayak chemical plant. Then the same technological scheme was applied at other radiochemical plants with the direct participation of the Radium Institute.
Doctor of Chemical Sciences.
Laureate of the Lenin Prize (1962) - for scientific works in the field of chemical sciences. He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and the Red Star.
