Evgenia Grigorievna Gorodetskaya ( December 8, 1865 , Vitebsk - June 8, 1940 , Irkutsk ) - Russian and Soviet pianist, music teacher and public figure.

Biography
In 1884 she graduated from the Vitebsk Women's High School [1] . In 1890 she graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory in the piano class of A. G. Rubinstein [2] . In 1891-1901 she taught in Mogilev in the women's gymnasium, performed with concerts [2] .
In the years 1901-1905 was a teacher of music classes of the Russian Musical Society in Irkutsk [2] . In 1905, together with R. A. Ivanov and M. N. Sinitsyn, founded a private music school in Irkutsk, was its director from 1916 to 1920. In 1920-1922 she was the rector and dean of the piano faculty of the University of Music [1] (now the Irkutsk College of Music ). In 1922, together with musicologist B. M. Popov, she organized Musical Fridays (concerts-lectures) [2] , was their artistic director until 1932 [1] . In 1923, she organized music literacy courses, taught piano and musical theoretical subjects there [1] .
In the 1930s, due to a disease of the legs, she moved away from social activities, but continued to give lessons at home. She died on June 8, 1940 . She was buried at the Glazkovsky cemetery of Irkutsk [1] .
Among her students are N. A. Kazantseva, People’s Artist of the RSFSR [2] .
