Pedro González Martínez , better known as Pedro (born 18 April 1968 in Villarcayo ) is a former Spanish footballer. He played the position of the left back, sometimes - the center.

Career
As a graduate of Real Burgos , Pedro was in the first team in the 1987/88 season, and the team was led by Sergiy Kresic . During this season, he played seven games in the second division and another 11 in the next.
In the summer of 1989, he had a chance to make his debut in the big leagues , as part of Logroniesa . He spent a good season, scoring even two goals.
As a result, the next season he became interested in " Atletico Madrid ". He defended the colors of the club for four seasons, winning two Spanish cups in the first two. However, he was not a stable base player, played in 56 league games, 26 of which in the last season.
In the summer of 1994, Luis Aragones invited Pedro to Seville . He played for two seasons in a team from the city of the same name , but he also rarely played out at the base.
Then Pedro spent two seasons in the second division with “ Alaves ” and “ Extremadura ”, respectively, with the latter won a promotion in the class (although he played only four games). As a result, Pedro decided to leave professional football.
