Dalniy is a village in the Kalachevsky district of the Volgograd region of Russia. It is part of the Logovsky rural settlement .

Content
History
In 1963, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR, the village of farm No. 6 of the Mayak state farm was renamed Dalniy [2] .
In accordance with the Law of Volgograd Region dated January 20, 2005 No. 994-OD “On Establishing Borders and Giving Status to the Kalachevsky District and Municipalities in Its Composition” [3] , the farm became part of the formed Logovsky rural settlement.
Geography
It is located in the southwestern part of the region, in the steppe zone, within the Ergeninsky Upland related to the East European Plain .
