Biography
He was born in the winter of 1930 in the village of Padar in the Salyan district of the Azerbaijan SSR (now a village in Adzhikabul district).
In 1954-1972, shepherd of the Sabir collective farm, a worker of the V. I. Lenin state farm. Since 1972 - the foreman of the farm named after V.I. Lenin of the Shemakhinsky district.
Teymurov proved to be an experienced and hardworking grower at work, distinguished himself as a good leader. During the leadership of Nagy Teymurov brigade, grape yields increased three times; The secret to obtaining high yields was the use of the most modern inventions of agronomy and agricultural technology, the best practices of famous winegrowers. The winegrower established close relations with the employees of the All-Russian Research Institute of Winemaking and Viticulture "Magarach" and the Azerbaijan Scientific Research Institute of Viticulture, shared his experience with them, and was the first to know about new research and inventions of scientists. In 1983, the team of the team led by Nagy Teymurov for the first time received a high grape crop with 18 percent glucose - 160 centners per hectare. The workers described the foreman as an honest and fair leader, we committed a labor offense, the leader gave a second chance. At the suggestion of Teymurov, an experience exchange school was opened at the state farm; many students of Teymurov successfully passed entrance exams in technical schools and institutes, became link and foreman, receiving high grape harvests.
By a resolution of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers of the USSR of November 7, 1984 , the USSR State Prize was awarded to the State Prize of the USSR for great personal contribution to increasing production, reducing costs and improving the quality of agricultural products.
