Biography
Born December 13, 1931 in Stavropol. In 1949-1950, he worked as a construction and restoration worker at the Moscow-Kursk Railway. In 1950 he entered, and in 1956 he graduated from the pediatric faculty of the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute. Stalin , after which he was directed to the construction of the Bratsk Hydroelectric Power Station , but by order of the Irkutsk Regional Health Department he was sent to work as a pediatrician in the Ust-Orda Buryat National District .
In 1960-1963 he studied at graduate school at the Department of Hospital Pediatrics of the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute named after N.I. Pirogov. In 1964 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of sciences on the topic "Some indicators of nonspecific immunity in newborn children with intracranial birth injury."
In 1963 he got a job at the Krasnoyarsk Medical Institute , in 1966-1982 he was the head of the department of hospital pediatrics, and in 1969-1976, he was vice-rector for academic work.
In 1976, by the decree of the State Committee for Science and Technology, with the direct participation and assistance of Konstantin Vladimirovich, the Institute of Medical Problems of the North of the Siberian Department of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR was opened in Krasnoyarsk, in which he became its first director (in 1976-1986). In 1976 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Science on the theme "Features of carbohydrate metabolism in newborn children" [2] [3] .
In 1986 he was transferred to work at the Irkutsk Medical Institute as the head of the Department of Pediatrics and Dean of the Department of Pediatrics. In 1987, he substantiated the opening of the East Siberian branch of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences. By resolution of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, a branch was opened with the inclusion of Irkutsk research institutes and the opening of the Institute of Pediatrics.
In 1988, due to the state of his mother’s health (who died the following year), he moved to work at the Stavropol Medical Institute , where the next year he created the department of childhood infectious diseases. In 1989-1995 he was vice-rector for scientific work, from 1990 until his death he was chairman of the dissertation council of the academy he created [1] [4] .
He died in 2010 [5] .
