Biography
Born in 1935 in the village of Fominskoe, West Siberian Territory. He entered the Tomsk Medical Institute (TMI) with a degree in medical care and graduated in 1958 with the qualification of “doctor”.
Since 1958 - graduate student of the Department of Normal Physiology of TMI. Since 1962 - assistant of the Department of Normal Physiology of the Khabarovsk Medical Institute. In 1964-1974 - Associate Professor, Professor, Head of the Department of Normal Physiology of TMI, Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Head of the Department of the Siberian State Medical University (Siberian State Medical University). In 1974-1997 - rector of TMI (since 1992 Siberian State Medical University) [1] .
Corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences since 02/14/1980, academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences from 01/30/1993, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences from September 30, 2013 in the Department of Medical Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences [2] [3] [1] .
