Biography
He graduated from Minsk Medrabfak in 1936, Minsk Medical Institute (5 courses) and Sverdlovsk Medical Institute in 1942. He served in the Army as a junior regiment doctor in 1941, as a doctor at the district hospital of the People's Commissar of Health of the RSFSR, 1941. After completing his studies at Sverdlovsk Medical Institute (1942) was head of the medical service of the Kutuzov Partisan Brigade, worked in the Belarusian headquarters of the partisan movement, 1942-1943. He performed the duties of senior state inspector of the Vitebsk region in 1942-1949, worked as an assistant at the Department of Microbiology of the Vitebsk Medical Institute in 1947-1949, as Deputy Minister of Health, in 1949-1974. He was elected head of the department of hygiene BelGIUV in 1970-1991.
In 1968 he was awarded the degree of candidate of medical sciences, in 1976 he was awarded the academic title of professor in the department of hygiene.
Scientific Activities
The main areas of scientific activity cover the problems of epidemiology, health organization, sanitary-epidemiological affairs; published 67 scientific papers.
He was awarded the Badge of Honor (1944), the Red Banner (1945), the Red Banner of Labor (1961, 1966), the October Revolution and medals, the Diploma of the Supreme Council of the BSSR.
