Biography
Born on January 17, 1943 in Buturlinovka, Voronezh region. He graduated from the Moscow Technological Institute of the Food Industry (1965).
- 1968-1972 - Senior Researcher, since 1969 the head of the sector of the All-Russian Research Institute of the Beer and Non-Alcohol Industry.
- 1972-1977 - Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor of the Moscow Technological Institute of Food Industry.
- 1977-1996 - Deputy General Director of the NGO drinks and mineral waters.
Since 1996, the director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Food Biotechnology FSBIU is a branch of the Federal Research Center for Nutrition, Biotechnology and Food Safety (FSBI Nutrition and Biotechnology FIC).
Candidate of Biological Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences (2003), Professor (1999), Academician of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (2007), Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2013).
He participated in the creation of new technologies for producing highly enzymatic malts for brewing; production of alcohol, food and feed additives, a comprehensive waste-free technology for processing grain into alcohol and feed products.
Awards, prizes, honorary titles
Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology (2001) [1] .
