The internal structure of the Halocynthia aurantium : 1 - mouth siphon, 2 - tunic, 3 - mantle, 4 - mouth, 5 - pharynx, 6 - endostil , 7 - dorsal plate, 8 - esophagus, 9 - stomach, 10 - intestine, 11 - atrium , 12 - cloacal siphon, 13 - heart, 14 - accumulation kidneys, 15 - sole, 16 - hepatic outgrowths
Distributed in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean from the Arctic in the north to Puget Bay in the south, especially in the Bering Sea at a depth of 40 to 100 m. They grow up to 18 cm in length, the body is barrel-shaped. The color of ascidia is red or orange. They live attached to the substrate. They are food crabs and starfish [1] .
