Eastern oak marshmallow [1] [2] , or labeled marshmallow [3] ( Wagimo signata ), is a species of day butterflies from the family Lycaenidae (Lycaenidae).

Description
The length of the front wing of males is 17-18 mm, females 17-19 mm. The color of the upper side of the wings of both sexes is black-brown, on the front wings in the central part there is a cobalt-blue large spot, on the hind wings - at the root. The pattern of the underside of the wings is yellow-orange with outlined white transverse bandages and black markings. Hind wings with a long tail. Eyes are covered with sparse hair. The forelegs of males are non-segmented [1] [3] .
Range
Russia (South of the Khabarovsk Territory , Primorye ), Japan , Korea , Central, Northeast and Western China [1] .
Biology
Over the year, this type of butterfly develops in one generation. The flight time of butterflies lasts from mid-July to September. Caterpillars of this species develop on various species of oaks ( Quercus ) [1] : Quercus dentata , Quercus serrata , Quercus mongolica , Quercus acutissima , Quercus alinea , Quercus variabilis . Pupils in the soil [3] .
