Biography and career
Madeleine Blanche Suffel was born on November 26, 1899 in Paris ( France ).
Suffel began her career in 1922 as a theater actress, and starting in 1931, she also starred in films and television. In all, over her 50-year career, she has played more than 100 roles in film and stage. Often played concierges and maids, worked with directors such as Sasha Guitry , Pierre Colombier , Marcel Carne and many others.
In 1951, she miraculously escaped the terrible car accident in which her colleague, actor Louis Florenci died [4] .
Suffel died on April 11, 1974 from a heart attack at the 75th year of his life in his hometown of Paris [5] and was buried there in the Batignolles cemetery .
