Trophotropy

The concept of trophotropy was introduced in 1957 by the Swiss physiologist Walter Rudolf Hess . [one]

The anterior region, that is, the preoptic region of the hypothalamus, has a trophotropic function. This function is responsible for the stability of the internal environment of the human body - homeostasis : mobilization of the vaginal apparatus, maintaining anabolism , improving metabolism . [2]

Maintaining homeostasis occurs through a segmental apparatus. [3]

Trophotropic function is responsible for such imbalances as hyperhidrosis , expansion of peripheral vessels, hypotension , increased intestinal motility, bradycardia , hypersalivation . [four]

There is such a thing as trophotropic products. These products slow down the metabolic process, reduce tone, while causing drowsiness. [5] These products include: malt drinks; products that contain a large amount of yeast, fresh milk, pork, bacon, melon, walnuts, tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant. [6]

Reactions that arise with trophotropic function are called restorative. [7]
