Referenda in Switzerland were held on February 25, April 15 and July 8, 1951 [1] . The February referendum on the federal resolution on transport was rejected [1] . In April, referendums were held on a civic initiative and a counter initiative on ensuring purchasing power and full employment [1] . The proposal was rejected by 88% of the vote, and the counter proposal was approved by 69% of the vote [1] . The July referendum on obliging state corporations to make financial contributions to the national defense budget was rejected [1] .
