Cigaritis takanonis is a species of day butterflies from the Lycaenidae family.

Description
The length of the front wing of butterflies is 12–15 mm [1] . The wings on the upper side of the male with a blue tint under the central cell. The female has an upper side of brown wings. Hind wings with 2 tails. The anal angle of the wings is red from above. Bandages on the underside of the wings with metal scales in the central part. The eyes are bare. The front paws are not segmented, at the end they are bent down [1] .

Korean Peninsula , Japan , China [1] .
Biology
For a year it develops in one generation. The flight time is from mid-June to early July. Caterpillars develop in nests of ants of the Crematogaster genus on old pines, cherries, and mulberries [1] .
