Nikolai Leonidovich Vasiliev (born July 25, 1955 , Saransk ) - Russian philologist , linguist , literary critic ; Doctor of Philology , Professor of the National Research Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogaryova ( Saransk ). Member of the Union of Journalists of Russia (1989), Union of Writers of Russia (1994). The author of more than 700 scientific, popular science and educational publications.

Biography

Father - L. G. Vasiliev (1924-2002), candidate of philological sciences, associate professor of Mordovia University , member of the Union of Writers of the USSR ; worked at the same department with M. M. Bakhtin ; the only official co-author of the latter. Mother - R. M. Vasilieva, teacher of the Russian language and literature, pensioner.

In 1977 he graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Mordovia State University. Since 1977 - graduate student, head of the Russian language cabinet, teacher of the Russian language department; since 1978, in connection with the death of a supervisor, - in the target full-time graduate school at Gorky University. N. I. Lobachevsky; the head is the head of the department of the history of the Russian language and comparative historical Slavic linguistics, professor N. D. Rusinov (1923-1998), the consultant is the head of the department of modern Russian language and general linguistics, professor B. N. Golovin (1916-1984).

Since 1981 he has been working at the Russian Language Department of Moscow State University. N.P. Ogareva (in 1985-1987 acted as head of the department). Scientific activity

Since 1974, he conducted research under the guidance of Professor P. G. Cheremisin (1921-1978), who was a student of Acad. V.V. Vinogradova . In 1981 he defended his thesis (“Scientific vocabulary in the literary works of A. S. Pushkin ”), in 1994 - his doctoral dissertation (“Poetry of A. I. Polezhaev in the context of Russian literature”; scientific adviser - professor A. A. Ilyushin ). Associate Professor (1990), Professor (1996).

Member of the Council for the defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations in the specialties "Literature of the Peoples of the Russian Federation" and " Finno-Ugric and Samoyedic Languages " (at the University of Mordovia, since 1996); Member of the Council for the defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations in the specialties "Literature of the Peoples of the Russian Federation - Mordovian Literature", "Russian Literature" (at the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after M.E. Evseviev, 1997-2015).

Winner of 8 grants of the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation , executor of other grant programs of this foundation. In 2004-2005, at the invitation of the Finnish researcher M. Lähteenmäki, he participated in the implementation of a joint scientific project to study the history of Soviet linguistics of the 1920s, supported by grants from the Academy of Sciences of Finland.

Participant of many international conferences - in Belarus, Ukraine, Hungary, Brazil, Finland, Great Britain, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Canada, Spain, China, Italy, Turkey, Serbia, Sweden. Member of the Editorial Board of the magazines Dialogue. Carnival. Chronotope ”(Moscow, 2009—2010),“ Bakhtiniana. Revista de Estudos do Discurso ”(São Paulo, since 2018),“ Russian language and literature in schools in Kyrgyzstan ”(Bishkek, since 2018). Chess Player
