Duke de Massa ( French Duc de Massa ) - French aristocratic title. It was created on August 15, 1809 by Emperor Napoleon for Claude Amboise Rainier (1746-1814), the great judge and Minister of Justice of the Empire from 1802 to 1813 .

Claude Ambroise Rainier , 1st Duke de Massa (1746-1814)
The name of the ducal title comes from the name of the province of Massa Carrara in Italy.
In 1816, the King of France Louis XVIII approved Nicolas-Francois Sylvester Rainier (1783-1851) as the 2nd Duke of Mass and Peer of France.
