Professional career

After that, over two years, four fights were held with the debutants, three victories were won, one battle was drawn in a draw. December 15, 2017 Skobenko fought on the undercard of the duel between Alexander Povetkin and Christian Hammer , which took place at the DIVS in Yekaterinburg . The opponent was an Azerbaijani boxer living in Turkey Zamig Atakishiyev (4-0-0). The fight ended in a separate decision of the referees.
Herman's next fight took place in February 2018 again in Yekaterinburg against Evgeny Romanov Avenue from Russia (7-0-0). In a dynamic fight without defeat of boxers, with a large number of shots thrown by both athletes, the fighter from Russia had the advantage. Having lost the start of the battle, Skobenko took the middle of the battle, but Romanov’s aiming hit in the seventh round led to Skobenko’s technical knockout defeat in the eight-round battle. [2]
In the next match, Skobenko easily beat the age-specific Vyacheslav Shcherbakov (3-17-1), known only for his defeat from Dmitry Kudryashov in 2011. The fight took place in the city of Donetsk and was not authorized by recognized boxing federations. In the main fight of the evening, Herman won by knockout in the first round, having previously twice sent an opponent to the canvas.
Having proved himself well in recent battles, on September 5, 2018, Skobenko met in Grozny with the local undefeated Russian boxer Apti Davtaev (15-0-1). The fight, which was at stake for the WBA Asia belt [3] [4] , as well as the duel with Romanov, was rife with the number of punches on both sides, but the Russian boxer was more resilient - in the sixth round of a ten-round fight, the seconds of tired German threw a towel.
