Biography
Club career
He began to play football in the teams " Fürth " and " Friedrichshafen ." In 1953 he signed a contract with the Borussia club (Neunkirchen) , in which he performed for more than 10 years.
Team Career
He made his debut for the Saara on June 3, 1956 in a friendly game with the second national team of Portugal . Three days later, he again entered the field in a friendly match with the Netherlands national team , in which he scored a goal in the 86th minute, setting the final score - 3: 2 in favor of the Netherlands [1] . This match was the last in the history of the Saar team, and Karl Ringel thus became the last goal author with the national team.
According to the Luxembourg Treaty of 1956 and the results of the referendum on October 23, 1955, Saar became part of the Federal Republic of Germany . On December 28, 1958, Ringel played his first and only match for the German national team , appearing on the field in a friendly match with the Egyptian national team , in which he replaced Ulrich Biesinger in the 62nd minute [2] .
