Biography

Volleyball Noriko Matsuda began practicing in Kushiro's hometown. Until 1971, she played for the Hokkaido Prefectural High School team, after which she was invited to one of the country's strongest teams, Hitachi Musashi, whose head coach was Shigeo Yamada of Japan and where much of the national team volleyball players concentrated. In the "Hitati" Matsuda 5 times became the champion of the country .

In 1974-1977, Matsuda played for the Japanese team , winning gold awards in all four tournaments in which she participated. Among them are the 1976 Olympics and the 1977 World Cup . In the World Cup for the first time in Japan, Matsuda was recognized as the best binder.

In 1978, the volleyball player decided to end her playing career, but in 1983 she returned to the pitch and played for two more seasons in the Dayay Attackers team.
