Sarbaiskoye deposit is an iron ore (magnetite) [1] deposit in Kazakhstan [2] . It is located in the Kustanai region , 45 kilometers southeast of Kustanai (near the city of Rudny ), on the site of the ancient tract of Sarbai. It was discovered in 1949 by the pilot M. Surgutanov according to the behavior of the compass needle [3] [4] .
It is localized in the exocontact zone of the diorite intrusion [5] . Ore bodies are located in metamorphosed volcanic-sedimentary rocks - andesitic porphyrites , tuffs , tuff basalts , tuffites, limestones , sandstones and other rocks of the Carboniferous period.
Ore bodies of the deposit lie on the western wing of the Sokolov-Sarbaiskaya anticline of submeridional strike. Discontinuous faults of different ages were developed at the deposit, along which dyes of diorite-porphyrites and granite-porphyry were introduced. The deposit consists of three stratiform deposits that occur in accordance with the rocks of the carbonate-tuffite strata: their strike is meridian, fall to the south-west at an angle of 45-65 Β°.
There is a hypothesis that deposits of the deposit are parts of a single body torn by post-ore disturbances. The deposits are traced along a strike of 1,500β2,000 m and a dip of up to 500β1,000 m. They are composed of solid magnetite ores, mineralized skarn and hornfels alternating with barren strips. Massive solid ores, disseminated in skarns.
It is developed by a career method [6] . Ore deposits supplied to the Urals [7]
