The village is located in the southern part of Mayotte Island, on the northeastern shore of Kenya Bay. The village crosses the highway CCD1 [5] . The nearest settlement is the Matseboro Devrevka (2.6 km) [6] .
According to the 1997 census, the population of the village was 4605 people. In 2007, it grew to 4622 people [6] .
