Career
Snell attended Shorewood High School in Shoreline , Washington. He played for school baseball and basketball teams. Later, as a Major League Baseball player, he came in the offseason and helped the head coach of the basketball team conduct training [1] . After leaving school, in 2011, he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Flight Club under a total number 52 [2] .
He began the 2014 season with Bowling Green Hot Rhodes. In May, he was transferred to Charlotte Stone Krabs. On August 2, in a shortened game due to rain, Blake played the first know-how in the history of the team [3] . At the end of the season, Snell was recognized as the pitcher of the year in the Race farm system [4] .
In 2015, Blake played at three different junior league levels, ending the season with the Durham Bulls in the AAA League. With an ERA transmittance of 1.41 and a rival beat-off rate of 18.2%, he was named the most promising pitcher of the year [4] . In November, Tampa incorporated Snell into an expanded team [5] . In the spring of 2016, he spent three starts at Durham, after which the coaching staff called him to the main team. On April 23, in a game against the New York Yankees , Blake made his debut in Major League Baseball [6] .
In 2018, Snell began the second pitcher of the Tampa launch rotation after Chris Archer . On June 3, in an away game against Seattle Mariners, he repeated the record of the American League, knocking out the first seven strikers of the opponent with strike outs [7] . By the middle of the season, Blake won 12 wins with 4 defeats and had the lowest ERA among all American League pitchers - 2.09. Despite this, he did not qualify for the All-Star Game following a vote. This situation on social networks was criticized by his teammate Chris Archer, who called it abnormal [8] . A few days later, the Major League Baseball leadership announced that Blake would take part in the game, replacing the injured Corey Clubber [9] . He missed the end of July due to a shoulder injury. After returning, Blake scored four victories with an ERA of 1.04 in five August games and was voted Best Pitcher of the Month in the American League [10] .
