Biography
Ethiko Maeda started volleyball in Tokyo at the Omori Rokkaku club. Then she played for the Tokiva Matsukakushi school team, and in 1970 she was accepted into the Sanyo Electric team ( Oizumi ), in which she made her debut in the Japanese championships and played until the end of her sports career in 1979.
In 1974-1977, Ethiko Maeda played for the Japanese national team and invariably became the winner of all official international tournaments in which she took part, including the 1976 Olympics , the 1974 World Cup and the 1977 World Cup .
