Born on January 21, 1939 in the village of Geok-Tepe, Ashgabat region. Turkmen SSR. He graduated from the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. M.I. Kalinina (1961).

  • 1961-1972 laboratory assistant, junior and senior researcher at the Institute of Deserts, Academy of Sciences of the Turkmen SSR,
  • 1972-1978 senior researcher at the Turkmen Forest Experimental Station of the Central Asian Forest Research Institute,
  • 1978-1995 Head of Laboratory of the Institute of Deserts,
  • 1996–1997 Deputy Director of the United Enterprise of Railway Transport.

From 1997 he worked in the Department of Land Reclamation, Water and Forestry of the RAAS: Head of the Department of Forestry and Agroforestry (1997-2000), and. about. Academic Secretary (2000–2002) of the Department of Agriculture, Land Reclamation and Forestry, Academician-Secretary (2002–2008), Chief Specialist (2008–2013).

Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (1989), Academician of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (2005, Corresponding Member since 2000), Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2013).

Specialist in agroforestry and desertification control.
