First degree murder (term)

First-degree homicide is a legal term in the laws of many states in the United States and Canada . The content of this term varies from state to state, but in general, “first-degree murder ” is considered a more serious crime than “second-degree murder" [1] .

For example, first-degree murder is recognized as ambush killing, asphyxiation , poisoning. An important circumstance in qualification is intentionality. Therefore, the term intentional killing also applies.
