Red-headed pine - a tubular mushroom from the genus Leccinum . Distributed in Europe . It was described as a new species by Roy Watling in 1961 [1] . The mushroom is edible. Mycorrhiza (a special connection of fungi with plants) connects the pine red-headed mycelium with the root systems of pine and bearberry [2] .
