Japonica (lat.) - genus of day butterflies from the family Lycaenidae (Lycaenidae). Representatives of the genus are common in the Far East of Russia and Southeast Asia , including the Japanese islands .

Description
The eyes are bare. The front legs of the males are segmented. The upper side of the wings is yellow. Hind wings with tail. Hind wings below with numerous bandages, broken by light veins into separate spots [1] .
