Zhylymshyk ( Kaz. Zhylymyshy ) - a sandy plain in the territory of the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan . Located west of Kaidak Bay. The length from north to south is 42 km, width - 33 km, area - 500 km². Vegetation - wormwood , wheatgrass , zhuzgun . Groundwater lies at a depth of 2-10 m. The plain is used as a year-round pasture .
