Biography

Pupil of Yartsevo football, coach - V. Sakhonenko. In adult football, he made his debut at the age of 14 as part of the local "Tekstilshchik" in the championship of the Smolensk region . In 1981 he went to study in Moscow , where he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Railway Engineers (1986), then worked for some time in Smolensk . In the late 1980s, he returned to Yartsevo, where he got a job at a machine-building plant and began playing for Tekstilshchik again.

In 1992 he made his debut in professional football as part of the Mogilev Torpedo . Over the next three seasons, he played 51 matches in the highest league of Belarus .

After returning from Belarus, he again played for Tekstilshchik, and then for the new city team Oasis , with whom he became the champion of the region and made his way to professional competitions. In amateur competitions was one of the top scorers on the team. In 1999–2000, he played 74 matches and scored one goal in the second division of Russia . Then he played again at the amateur level, ended his career at the age of far 40 years. It is considered one of the strongest players in the city of Yartsevo in history.

He was elected a deputy to the Yartsevo City Council (2011–2016) [1] .
