The source of the river in the taiga massif among the hills of the Northern Uvalov , 29 km southeast of the village of Obyachevo . The source is located on the global watershed of the Volga and the Northern Dvina , the Kobra River originates nearby. The river flows west, the entire course passes through an uninhabited hilly taiga massif. It flows into Yelgu, 6 km southeast of the village of Girkashor. The width of the river does not exceed 10 meters [2] .
