Muntz metal was proposed in 1832 by the British industrialist and metallurgist J. Muntz, it has good mechanical properties, a combination of high ductility and corrosion resistance with machinability for various types of cold and hot metal processing (cutting, pressure processing, etc.) [2] [3]
