Description
The length of the river is 11 km, the catchment area is 66.4 km² [2] . It originates 1.3 km north of the small village of Pokrovka [3] on the Soksky Yary Uplands . From the source it flows north, at the village of Krotovka it turns west. In the lower reaches it flows to the north-west and flows into the Slime on the right bank [3] 26 km from its mouth.
There are dams and ponds on the river, a bridge near the village of Krotovka on the highway Ozerki - Chistovka .

According to the Russian State Water Register, it belongs to the Lower Volga Basin District , the water sector of the river is Sok from the source to the mouth. The river basin of the river is the Volga from the upper Kuibyshev water reservoir to the confluence with the Caspian.
