Born into a noble family.
Public Service
Military Service
He began military service on August 6, 1868 [2] . July 21, 1870 from the standard-cadets of the Nikolaev Cavalry School was promoted to Cornet Horse Guards. March 31, 1874 promoted to lieutenant . March 27, 1877 promoted to staff captain . April 10, 1877 was appointed to the disposal of His Imperial Highness Commander-in-Chief of the army . Engaged in philanthropy and charity. He was chairman of the Okhotnikovskaya almshouse with a shelter for young orphans in the city of Usman, Tambov province, which was under the auspices of Her Imperial Majesty Empress Maria Fedorovna [15] . Consisted of the Honorary Overseer of the Usman Lower Craft School [1] . In 1904 he donated 150 rubles to the craft school “in eternal times” for the establishment of a scholarship for teaching poor students. The Zemstvo scholarship was named after Platon Mikhailovich [16] . He was a trustee of the Bereznegovsky public school.
