Biography
Born on November 30, 1953 in the village of Lysaya Gora, Pervomaisky district, Nikolaev region . In 1972 he graduated from the Novobug Pedagogical School. In 1981, the history department of the T. G. Shevchenko Kyiv National University . In 1991 he defended his thesis on topical issues of the history of Ukraine during the Great Patriotic War . Candidate of Historical Sciences (1991). Doctor of Historical Sciences (2001).
From 1972 to 1973 he worked as a teacher of history and geography of the Vodyano-Lorinovskaya eight-year school of the Elanetsky district . In 1973-1975 passed military service in the army. From 1975 to 1977 he taught at the Yasnogorodskoy eight-year school in the Elanetsky district . From 1977 to 1979 he was a teacher of history and social science of the Sophia secondary school in Novobugsky district of Nikolaev region .
From 1979 to 1984 and 1986 to 1993 at the party and executive work in the cities of New Bug and Pervomaisk .
From 1993 he worked in the city of Nikolaev as an assistant professor , head of the department, professor and dean of the faculty.
In February 2004, he became director of the Nikolaev Educational and Research Institute of the Odessa National University. I.I. Mechnikova , simultaneously head of the department of political science . Permanent participant of international, all-Ukrainian, regional scientific and scientific conferences.
In 2008–2018 he headed the Educational and Research Institute of History and Law [1] of the Nikolaev National University named after V. A. Sukhomlinsky .
September 1, 2018 killed in the city of Nikolaev [2] .
