History
In early 1912, due to the need to create a system for observing ice conditions and weather conditions to constantly provide this information to ships heading for the Kara Sea, it was decided to build a radio telegraph station at the mouth of the Mare-Yaga River on Cape Marre-Sale in the Yamal Peninsula. The construction of the station went with great difficulties due to the difficult ice situation in Baydaratskaya Bay and interruptions in the delivery of building materials and provisions. However, already on September 2, 1912, the first radio communication session was carried out [1] .
In 2010, in connection with the cessation of existence [2] , Morrasale was abolished, along with the villages of Drovyanaya and Sabetta , the villages of Mordyyakh and Tarkosale , the village of Ust-Yuribey [3]
