William Richard Shorten , better known as Bill Shorten (born May 12, 1967, Melbourne , Australia ) is an Australian politician and chairman of the Labor Party (since 2013).

Biography
In 1992, he graduated from Monash University in Melbourne with a bachelor of arts and a bachelor of law degree , and later received a master's degree in business from the University of Melbourne [1] .
