The origin of the toponym

In Estonian there is the word “cullus” ( Est. Küllus ) - “abundance”. Estonian doctor of veterinary medicine, linguist and Esperantist believed that the names similar to Küllätvä come from the ancient Baltic-Finnish personal name Külline - “abundant”. According to a researcher at the Võru Institute , the linguist Mariko Faster, the toponym can come from the ancient Baltic-Finnish personal name, formed from the word “küllättävä” - “praised”, “praised”. Regarding the name Tyulitino : in Russia there are settlements Tyulkino . [2]

According to the linguist , the toponym Küllätüv is descended from the Russian Tyulitino : half-believers (setos), descendants of Miracles , not knowing the Russian language, “distorted the Russian name in their own way” [10] .
