The Panasonic Lumix DMC-L1 is an entry-level digital SLR camera from Panasonic. This is the first SLR camera released by the company. The device is equipped with a Four Thirds digital matrix with a resolution of 7.5 megapixels (maximum resolution - 3136 × 2352 pixels).

Unlike most SLR cameras of its time, the DMC-L1 allows you to use an LCD screen ( Live View technology) as a viewfinder.
The Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14 - 50 mm lens, f / 2.8 - f / 3.5 with optical image stabilization (Mega OIS) are supplied with the camera.
In September 2006, the Leica Digilux 3 camera appeared, the design of which is based on the DMC-L1.
