Club career
Otavio is a graduate of the club Atletico Paranaense . On January 18, 2014, Santos made his debut for the main team in the Paranaense League match against Prudentopolis [2] . On April 20, in a match against Gremio , he made his debut in the Brazilian Serie A [3] . On February 24, 2016, in a duel against Chrisium , Otavio scored his first goal for Atletico Paranaens [4] . In the same year, he helped the team win the Paranaense League.
In the summer of 2017, Otavio moved to the French Bordeaux , signing a contract for 4 years [5] . The transfer amount amounted to 5 million euros. On August 26, in his match against Troyes , he made his debut in League 1 [6] .
