Career
Lucas Lima made his debut at the adult level as part of the Criciuma in the Brazilian Series C match against Marilia on May 24, 2009 [1] . The footballer was later signed by the Internacional Club. In 2011, the player went on loan to the Parana B Series team, where he spent his first full season in professional football. For two years, Lima was unable to gain a foothold in the "Internacional" and in July 2012, he moved to Botafogo . Together with the new team, in 2013, the footballer won the Carioca State Championship , in addition, Botafogo for the first time in 18 years qualified for the Libertadores Cup . In January 2014, Lima went to Goias on loan [2] . In early 2015, the football player returned to Botafogo and terminated the contract with the club due to unpaid wages [3] , concluding a one-year contract with the ABS in February.
In the summer of 2015, Lima signed a two-year contract with the Portuguese Aroca Club [4] . At the end of the season, the footballer won back 31 matches and scored 4 goals in the Portuguese Championship 2015/16 [5] , and his team took 5th place, qualifying for the 2016/17 Europa League . In July 2016, Lima moved to the French “ Nantes ”, the amount of transfer exceeded 1 million euros [6] . Lucas became a player in the starting lineup and in two seasons took part in 71 matches of the French Championship [7] .
