Biography
Vadim Duda was born on December 24, 1964. In 1991, he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute ( MAI ) with a degree in mechanical engineering, with a diploma in English. In 2005 he received an MBA (American Institute of Business and Economics). [2]
In 1984 he began his career in the library at the MAI . From 1991 to 2012 in various positions he was engaged in the development of international cooperation, promotion of information technology, the opening of new directions in the IT industry. In 2012–2013, he worked as director of the Information Policy and International Relations Department of the Ministry of Culture of Russia , was an adviser to the Minister of Culture . Participated in the creation of the National Electronic Library ( NEB ). In 2013–2015 in the position and. about. Rector of the Academy of retraining of workers of art and culture and tourism (APRICT) was engaged in the development of libraries in the regions, worked on the creation of the library of the Center for Children's Art in Sochi (Foundation "Talent and Success").
In 2015–2018, he served as general director of the All-Russian State Library of Foreign Literature named after M. I. Rudomino [3] . By the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of August 28, 2018, he was appointed Director General of the Federal State Budget Institution " Russian State Library " [4] .
