Biography
Graduated from Moscow State University . M.V. Lomonosov (1979) and graduate school (1982). In 1983 he defended his thesis “Economic Problems of the Development of the Social Infrastructure of the Village”.
- 1983 Head Department of Economics of the Republican N.-i. Hops station of the Ministry of Agriculture of the RSFSR.
- 1984-1990 scientific secretary of the Council for Social Development of the Village (1984-1988), on priority issues of socio-economic development of the agro-industrial complex (1988-1990) under the Presidium of the All-Union Agricultural Academy.
- 1990-1996 Leading Researcher (1990-1993), Deputy Director for Science (1993-1995), Acting Director (1995-1996) of the Agrarian Institute of the RAAS.
- 1996-2007 Director of the All-Russian Institute of Agrarian Problems and Informatics. A.A. Nikonov .
- 2007–2016 State Secretary - Deputy Minister (2007–2015), Deputy Minister (2015–2016) of the Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
