Content
Biography
From 1934 to 1937 he studied at the Ivanovo Art College .
In 1937 he entered the Faculty of Painting of the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture . During the war, in the besieged Leningrad , he participated in the production of visual agitation, posters, newspapers. In 1945 he graduated from LIZSA (workshop of B.V. Johanson , thesis - “Leningrad composers”, rating - good; awarded the title of artist of painting).
Creativity
A large place in creativity is occupied by book and easel graphics. Together with Mikhail Gordon and Lev Orekhov, he created a series of sharp posters [1] .
The works are in the Kiev branch of the Central Museum of V.I. Lenin . November 9, 1978, 12 works were acquired for the Perm State Art Gallery [2] .

- 1969 - First Prize of the Union of Artists of the USSR for a series of works on Lenin
- Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1968, Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of September 11, 1968)
- Certificate of honor of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR for creative work in the field of books dated April 30, 1966
- 1965 - Gold medal in the Sholokhov competition at the Leipzig exhibition

- Wife - Valentina Vladimirovna (nee Schulz, 1922 -?), Graphic artist, honored artist of the RSFSR [3] .
