Biography
Born in a Greek family. His parents, Dionysis (Denis) and Anna Tomopoulos, who immigrated to the United States at the beginning of the 20th century, came from the village of Demonia in Laconia ( Peloponnese , Greece ). Grew up in the Bronx ( New York ). Has a sister, Paraskevul [13] . Tony's father owned a restaurant.
He graduated from the School of Diplomatic Service at Georgetown University [2] [3] .
In 1959, after graduating, he began working as a postal clerk at the headquarters of the NBC television channel in New York [14] .
In 1964 he became an employee of Four Star Entertainment [2] [14] .
In 1970-1973 - an employee of RCA (1970-1971) and Selecta Vision [14] .
In 1973, he became an employee of the ABC television company [2] [14] .
In 1978-1988 - Member of the Board of Directors of Georgetown University.
